The exhibition is also in conjunction with Singapore’s 44th National Day. Works from the festival will be showcased at ION Orchard, the city-state’s latest mall at prime shopping district, Orchard Road. Other exhibits include multimedia and animation works from the ITE School of Design & Media and the HP Lightropolis contest. Visitors will get to access the works through HP’s Z-series Workstations.

Winning entries from the HP Lightropolis contest, which was launched earlier in March, will be featured on the mall’s exterior multimedia facade as well as various screens within the building.

Following a collaboration between HP and Cartoon Network, budding young animators will also be provided with an interactive platform on www.ToonCreatorAwards.com where they can create their own 25-second ending of popular kids cartoon Ben 10.

Serena Yong, GM of personal systems group, HP Singapore said the festival was a platform for the local creative community to pursue their creative ideas and passion to boost the local creative industry.
