Dentsu &C wins digital duties for China UnionPay in China

BEIJING – Dentsu’s internet advertising agency &C has been appointed to the US$1.5 million digital business for China UnionPay (CUP) following a pitch.

The agencies involved were undisclosed, but CUP has confirmed the news.

&C is a joint venture between Dentsu and Hua Kuang Advertising based in Beijing. The agency specialises in digital within Dentsu Media network.

CUP is a domestic credit card organisation in China and the only interbank network in the mainland, excluding Hong Kong and Macau, linking the ATMs of some 14 major banks and many more smaller banks throughout mainland China.

In recent news, &C won Shanghai Volkswagen's CRM business in May.
