DBS has seen an increased in its debit and credit combined billings in September 2010 by 30 per cent compared to the industry average of 20 per cent.

For its latest tie-up with the Asian Food Channel (AFC), DBS cardholders can now participate in 'Chef Signatures', master classes conducted by renowned chefs, or sign up with friends for 'Cook-O-Rama' to recreate dishes by their favourite AFC chefs at the AFC Studio.

Selected DBS cardholders will also be invited to unique culinary adventures such as 'The Underground Supper Club', which are exclusive invitation-only dining affairs.

DBS cardholders can also receive recommendations and promotional deals to dining outlets on-the-go when they download the DBS Indulge Mobile Application on their mobile phone. With more than 130,000 downloads, this new mobile application currently ranks top three under the Lifestyle free applications category in the Apple App Store.

“Singaporeans love to connect with each other over food and dining is a key credit card spend for many of our customers," said Ooi Huey Tyng, senior vice-president and head of cards and unsecured loans, DBS Bank.

"By catering beyond the conventional dining offers, we are confident that DBS Indulge will be the preferred platform for our cardholders’ dining insights and privileges, and to this end, DBS is pleased to work with AFC to lead our customers to new Asian culinary discoveries,” Tyng added.

Maria Brown, co-founder and managing director of AFC, said, “AFC is proud to be teaming up with DBS to bring a whole year of extraordinary culinary experiences to its customers. Run by ardent foodies, the channel has always been passionate about connecting with people and sharing the love of food."

By increasing the value of DBS Indulge through strategic tie-ups with partners such as AFC and Resorts World Sentosa, the bank continues to build upon the strong affinity customers have with the programme.
