The original three-year contract, which was due to run until July 2011, was initially extended until June 30, 2012 and has now been extended for a further 12 months.

Tourism Australia said the extension will ensure a smooth rollout of the second phase of its ongoing 'There's nothing like Australia' campaign, which launched in June in China, the UK, the US, and Australia, has now been extended to other markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, and India.

DDB claims that since its launch, the campaign has attracted more than 20 million online views globally.
