Stephane Faggianelli, president of Wunderman Asia-Pacific, said increasing requirements for advanced analytics and optimisation services across the region had triggered the move.

All existing resources within the Wunderman Singapore office will be consolidated under ZAAZ. "Singapore is our first step. Our ambition is to scale fast and add key markets such as Australia, China and Japan to our regional footprint," Faggianelli said.

ZAAZ was founded in 1998 and offers a range of digital services including targeting, usability, social, mobile, data/analytics, search and optimization focusing on delivering measurable results and monetisation.

ZAAZ co-founder John Farris (pictured) is relocating from the US to Sydney to lead the development of the unit in the region. Farris will drive its deployments across Asia-Pacific markets while supporting Wunderman's regional clients.

Rajeev Ramachandran has been appointed as senior data analyst in Singapore. Ramachandran will report to Nimesh Desai, general manager of Wunderman Singapore. He brings to the table his expertise in analytics, and data/CRM, having previously managed his own consultancy Loyalty Matrix in Malaysia.
