STAR | Snow Man | Taiwan

Taiwan's Society of Wilderness and Star TV have jointly taken a stance against global warming and have challenged viewers to a "lightness" night.

In their market-exclusive initiative, the networks entreat audiences to turn off all their lights for an hour on June 21. Events will be held in various locations in Taiwan for people to celebrate the lightless evening.

Visitors to the campaign website can also register and add to the digital tally of participants.
