Nokia | As the Crow Flies | Indonesia

'As the Crow Flies' is the latest print initiative from Nokia to promote its A-GPS functionality.

Executive creative director of JWT Ivan Wibowo said Jakarta is becoming increasingly crowded and new roads and high rises are being built everyday.

“There are confusing road signs and labyrinth-like alleys. Taking one wrong turn could mean losing hours of precious travel time,” said Wibowo. “Nokia A-GPS technology could easily ‘lift’ all the complexities of navigating and help reach a destination.”

Riadi Sugihtani, head of marketing at Nokia Indonesia explained that ‘maps’ are always intimidating for some people, and providing a user friendly tool to map-reading reinforces the brand’s mantra of ‘connecting people’.

The creative concept of the ad illustrates people’s state of mind and provides a simple solution. Wibowo notes that the amount of time and effort the team has put in the retouching process was near to an ‘obsessive level’ as the agency tries to create as real as possible graphics.
