Y&R China name Riggs to spearhead IMC unit

SHANGHAI - Y&R China has brought over Jack Riggs (pictured left), integrated marketing communications (IMC) director from its Singapore office, to spearhead the development of the agency's Shanghai IMC strategy and services unit.

Riggs has previously worked on MNC accounts including Sony, Singapore Tourism, Danone, Bacardi at Y&R Singapore; prior to that, he was director of IMC at Publicis where he designed campaigns for Nokia, HP, and P&G.

Riggs will expand the new unit to Y&R Guangzhou and Beijing later this year.

Meanwhile, Y&R has also appointed Daryl Juinio (right) as client service director in charge of the newly acquired French water brand Danone. A veteran of 15 years, Juinio was previously the regional account director for Saatchi & Saatchi Guangzhou for eight years serving P&G oral care brands.

Henry Chan, MD, Y&R Shanghai said: “Our business is going from strength to strength, as we get more work from existing clients and new accounts.”
