Five online agencies vied for Dragon Ball’s account, which has been estimated at 2 billion KRW (US$1.34 million), although that sum is subject to increase.

TBWA has been charged with the production, strategy and creative duties for a campaign to run from April to August.

Dragon Ball online beta testing took place in Korea in 2007 and went live in the country in 2008.

Dragon Ball was developed by NTL and first released as a Japanese comic book in 1984. Its current publishers are CJ Internet in Korea and Namco Bandi Games in Japan.
