Sprite picks Isobar as global digital agency

GLOBAL – Isobar, the full service digital marketing agency of Aegis Media, is now the agency-of-record for Coca-Cola’s Sprite.

Sprite picks Isobar as global digital agency

BBH is currently the creative agency, which was previously working with AKQA for Sprite. The most recent work for the pair is the global campaign titled ‘The spark' featuring Drake. But AKQA is reported not to have joined Sprite's pitching process.

Isobar trumped shortlisted agencies R/GA and Big Spaceship to win the account. The agency is already on the beverage giant's roster in Taiwan, China and Thailand for multiple brands.

Isobar has not named the responsible office within the region for the new Sprite win. However, according to sources in Asia, the new Sprite project is likely to be developed out of China.

This assumption is based on Wwwins Isobar (the Greater China office) bagging awards for Coca-Cola in shows like the Digital Media Awards, Spikes and Click Awards. It has launched iCoke.cn in 2006, and has boosted 25 per cent of the total internet population in China in less than half a year.

Wwwins Isobar is already working with Sprite in China, along with Minute Maid, Yuan Ye Tea and Nestea.
