Sony Pictures hires Lim to oversee Animax in Asia

SINGAPORE - Sony Pictures Entertainment Networks (SPE) has appointed Virginia Lim (pictured), formerly senior manager of programming at StarHub, as director of programming in Asia.

Lim will reportedly oversee the programming of the company’s Animax anime and youth entertainment brand across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India and the Philippines. She will report to Animax Asia’s vice president and general manager, Gregory Ho.

Lim’s hire follows that of Law Kim Meng as director of technology and operations in October, and of Kim Sang-Im as director of Korea and new media in September.

Both report directly to Ang Hui Keng, senior vice president of channels management and finance.
