Singapore sends delegation to Hong Kong FilMart 2018

Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) will lead a delegation of 23 media companies to Hong Kong FilMart 2018, Asia’s largest film rights sales market.

The companies will present over 400 hours of stories from Asia across 54 titles that range from film and TV producers such as Clover Films, Sitting in Pictures and WaWa Pictures, to distributors like Ying Group and Bomanbridge Media.

On top of that, international trade partners can meet and network with the Singapore
delegation during Singapore Hour at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

FilMart is an annual event to promote Hong Kong as a regional hub for distribution and production of film, TV programs and entertainment-related products across Asia-Pacific. The event is also a platform to promote cross-media and cross-sector business partnerships.

This year, some 850 exhibitors from 37 countries and regions will gather alongside major local film companies. Attendees can also expect over 300 film screenings, 40 networking events, and thematic seminars.
