Samsung Anycall introduces four star-studded branded short films in China

Samsung Anycall has invited award-winning Hong Kong novelist and director Edmond Pang Ho Cheung to develop this ‘4+1’ film campaign

The star-studded cast includes the likes of Zhou Xun (who also appeared in Gap's first campaign for China) and Zhang Jingchu from China, Taiwanese rock star Huang Li Hsing, and Hong Kong’s Shawn Yue and Lawrence Chou.

To complete the ‘4+1’ set, a major movie is also set to debut in cinemas during 2011.

Samsung is leading the project in partnership with video platforms and social media domains Sina, Ku6, Tudou, Youku, QiYi and RenRen.

The online elements are developed by Samsung’s digital solutions agency Opentide Greater China. The campaign is also supported by behind-the-scene footage and downloads.
