Publicis and Capital Advertising form Publicis Capital in India

NEW DELHI - Publicis and Capital Advertising in India has consolidated to form new entity Publicis Capital with a team of over 150 people at offices in Delhi and Mumbai.

Sunil Sachdeva and Prasad Subramaniam, founders of Capital Advertising, will take the joint chairmanship of Publicis Capital with Hemant Misra, currently CEO of Publicis India, stepping up as CEO.

Under this new partnership, Publicis Capital will bolster a clientele ranging from Apollo Tyres, Beam Brands, Carrefour, Escorts, Fidelity Asset Management, Hewlett Packard, IFFCO Tokio, L'Oreal, Maruti Suzuki, Nestle, Sanofi-Aventis, United Biscuits and Voltas.

"This is a move to leverage all our talent and resources in order to add potent strength to our operations in India," said Kevin Ramsey (pictured), CEO of Publicis Asia-Pacific. "Publicis Worldwide has the privilege to partner with some of the leading companies of the world, for most of whom India has already become a key market."

Publicis Capital will be headquartered in Delhi and count among the top five agencies by size in India.
