ProChile selects Ogilvy for global positioning of Chilean brand

CHICAGO - ProChile, the South American country's trade commission, has appointed Ogilvy PR as its global public relations agency of record to strengthen the Chilean country brand across eight markets.

The appointment reportedly marks the first time the commission has selected an agency partner to develop a global public relations initiative. Ogilvy is expected to focus on promoting Chilean tourism and products, as well as encouraging foreign investment.

In Asia-Pacific, the account will be led by Ogilvy PR’s Beijing and Tokyo offices.
