Ogilvy promotes Zayn Khan to regional role, Blake Delandro set to depart

KUALA LUMPUR - Ogilvy & Mather has promoted its Malaysia group managing director Zayn Khan (pictured) to regional business strategy director for both South and Southeast Asia from 1st April.

As regional business strategy director, Khan will be responsible for helping to build strategy consulting for the group across South Asia and Southeast Asia.

Prior to stepping into this role he served as managing director for the advertising arm of Ogilvy and group planning director for Malaysia. He will report to the South and SE Asia head, John Goodman.

Separately Blake Delandro, the managing director of O&M Advertising will leave the company next month, to be replaced by head of talent Angelina Villanueva.

Villanueva has been promoted to general manager for O&M Advertising taking over Delandro's duties.

A statement from O&M stated that Delandro, the managing director of Ogilvy & Mather Advertising, will leave the agency to pursue opportunities within the region.
