Nissin Cup Noodles | Haiku | Philippines

Nissin Cup Noodles is promoting authenticity in a Japanese-style television ad in the Philippines entitled 'Haiku'.

Nissin Cup Noodles | Haiku | Philippines
The ad, created by Neuron/Campaigns & Grey Philippines, focuses on the seafood flavour product line, presenting the very essence of the Japanese culture, which translates to quality assurance.

Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry. From the soundtrack, art direction and clothing design, the animation is designed to be “simple, tranquil, fluid and nothing flashy”, according to the creative team.

In a society that pushes for convenience yet still insists on quality, Nissin uses its Japanese heritage to differentiate itself in the instant noodle category.

Translated synopsis:
I do not need to gaze upon her blue waters.
I do not need to dive into her deep world.
I have tasted the riches of the ocean.
I drowned in the delicious taste of Nissin Seafood.
From Nissin
