MRM Thailand makes two internal promotions

THAILAND - MRM Thailand has named Jackie Wang as general manager with Supachai Toemtechatpong stepping into the senior leadership role of creative director. Both appointments are effective immediately.

Wang began her career at McCann Worldgroup's (MWG) San Francisco office. She was appointed as business director last year at MRM Thailand, MWG's digital and direct full service agency. Her experience revolves around integrated marketing and she has worked with clients such as Microsoft, Unilever, Thai Military Bank and the Tourism Authority of Thailand.

Meanwhile, Toemtechatpong moves over from McCann Erickson Thailand where he spent the past three years as creative director. He started his career in TBWA in Bangkok as art director and has worked with clients such as Nestle, MasterCard, Durex and IP Group.

"These recent appointments illustrate the depth of skill we have here at MRM in Thailand as well as being a very real representation of the commitment we have to nurturing the careers of high performing and loyal employees. Following the recent departure of previous members of staff, we obviously needed to review MRM's client teams," noted Monica White, CEO of Worldgroup Thailand.

The appointments come on the heels of the termination of the employment of Jinn Powprapai, the former managing director of MRM Thailand due to breach of contract.
