One of the top three major Thai mobile operators, MCN Asia operates a mobile ad platform business based on its proprietary search engine technology. Mediba, meanwhile, provides media production and other services to connect corporations with end-users within the mobile space.

The partnership allows the two companies to establish and expand their business into Thailand for advertising and advertising-related services.

Mediba recently expanded its presence in Southeast Asia, with plans to establish representative offices in Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia by the first half of this year. It also ventured into South Korea in January.

The number of smartphone users in Thailand has been increasing significantly, with 44 per cent of internet users going online via their mobile devices.
