Media builds regional presence with two new senior hires

Jin Bo has been appointed as editor for Greater China, based out of Beijing, while Madhavi Tumkur joins Media as Southeast Asia editor based out of Singapore.

Both Jin and Tumkur will have a broad work scope across print and online, including taking responsibility for the new Campaign China and Campaign Singapore websites, which will launch on June 17.

“We are very excited about these appointments as they strengthen our reporting capabilities in the region, confirming Media’s ability to provide Asia-Pacific's most comprehensive coverage of the marketing, media and PR industry,” said Michael O’Neill, editor of Media. “In addition, the hiring of Jin will allow us to expand further our Chinese-language platforms.”

Jin joins Media with ten years of reporting and editorial experience, both in China and the US, most recently at the United Nations in New York. Tumkur brings to Media more than ten years’ experience across a number of senior editorial roles, both in Hong Kong and Singapore.
