HONG KONG & SHANGHAI - Wyeth Nutrition, following a final three-way pitch against undisclosed competitors, has decided that McCann should handle its creative business in Greater China.

McCann tipped to pick up Wyeth Nutrition brief for Greater China

The client began staging the pitch in November and confirmed the Hong Kong contract first before mainland China last week, according to sources close to the process. McCann previously worked on a small-scale project for Wyeth, worth US$3 million, in July 2013.

Incumbent TBWA had been the key creative partner for the Illuma, Enercal Plus and Wyeth Gold brands for a number of years.

The size of the client's creative account is not disclosed, but the value of its media business is approximately US$46 million (RMB300 million) in China.
