Levi's appoints corporate affairs director to lead PR

SINGAPORE - Levi's has appointed The Ascott Group's VP for corporate communications, brand and marketing, Celina Low (pictured) to head its regional PR function as corporate affairs director.

Based in Singapore, Low will oversee three functions - communications, community affairs and government affairs - to support the jeans wear brand’s business in Asia-Pacific and Africa.

Her communication duties include both corporate and brand public relations and internal communications. She will oversee community affairs such as grant making and employee volunteerism initiatives plus support Levi’s worldwide government affairs and public policy function in promoting business success and social responsibility.

“Having strong customer traction especially during challenging times is critical to the success of our business, which is why Levi Strauss & Co. places great emphasis on regular engagements and ongoing communications with our stakeholders. Celina joins us at an exciting and challenging time as the company continues to drive its brand leadership and seek opportunities for further growth in the region,” said Aaron Boey, president of Levi Strauss Asia Pacific Division.
