Dentsu Aegis Network has appointed Jimmy Kuo as CEO of Vizeum China. Based in Shanghai, Kuo will report directly to Susana Tsui, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network China.

Kuo has been with DAN since 2013 with a focus on international and key China clients, such as Microsoft, Pernod Ricard and Friesland Campina, in various positions at Amplifi and Carat. His most recent role was Carat Shanghai's managing director of key accounts.

The client-facing duties will not stop for Kuo in his new job, but he told Campaign China that he will be spending more time to think about overall Vizeum offerings, and how to be more resourceful than before. The current state of the market in China sees many CPG and FMCG companies being focused on cost savings, he added.

Ex-CEO Dominic Ng, who was in the role for slightly more than a year, is leaving to "pursue personal projects", according to the agency's press release.
