IBTM has officially announced the appointment of Nicole Ci as event manager for IBTM China, the industry trade show held annually in Beijing.

Nicole has eight years’ experience in the events industry in China, most recently as project manager for the China Children’s Book Fair, with responsibility for both B2B and B2C. Before that, Nicole worked on various shows including China International Machine Tools Exhibition (CIMES) and Aluminium China as marketing manager.

“I’m thrilled to be working on this event at what is a very exciting time for IBTM China,” she said. “We have added new elements to this year’s show and my team and I will be working hard to ensure that IBTM China continues to be renowned for delivering an inspiring and market-leading experience through our CPD-accredited Knowledge Programme and showcasing some of the industry’s most dynamic and exciting new suppliers and solutions.”

Shane Hannam, portfolio director, Reed Travel Exhibitions, said: “We are delighted that Nicole has joined us as event manager for IBTM China. The event has grown significantly in recent years and we have no doubt that, with Nicole’s experience and professionalism, she will lead the event from strength to strength. We look forward to another successful edition of IBTM China in September.

IBTM China gathers over 5,000 global meetings industry professionals together for two days of pre-scheduled business meetings. This year’s show will be held from September 12-13 at the China National Convention Center (CNCC) in Beijing’s Chaoyang district. Hosted buyer applications are still being accepted.
