Fonterra will be launching a new dairy product, Anmum, in China later this year.

Sim (pictured) came on board in April and will take the lead on integrating online and offline platforms for Fonterra. She will report to Jit Ng, vice president of  DDB Group North China and managing director of DDB Group Shanghai.

Prior to joining DDB, Sim worked for ACXIOM China as managing account director, focusing on data-driven marketing, analytics and integration of online and offline data.

She brings to DDB more than 11 years of international experience in FMCG, B2C marketing and branding, and creative communications in Singapore, China and California. She has worked with P&G, Volkswagen Group China, Nestlé Infant Nutrition, Estée Lauder, Coach, A.S. Watsons Group  and Citibank Malaysia.

Sim started her career as air director with an agency in California before returning to Singapore, where she started off as a creative director with OgilvyOne from 2005 to 2008. She later became business director at OgilvyOne Beijing, where she gained an understanding of China’s consumer behaviour.

"Jumping from a creative to a business lead, [Sim] stands out with a diversity of skills, brave attitude and striking personality," Ng said, adding that Sim bridges the intersection of creativity and effectiveness.
