Fleishman chosen to raise Brazil's international profile

GLOBAL - Brazil's Secretariat for Social Communication (Secom) has appointed Fleishman Hillard as its PR agency partner as it seeks to raise interest in the country throughout Asia, Europe and North America.

The Government body’s executive secretary, Ottoni Femandes Junior, indicated in an announcement that the project would emphasise business opportunities within the country and aim to attract a higher level of foreign investment.

The initial contract of one year can reportedly be extended to last 60 months, and will include an annual budget of around US$6.5 million.
