Fitch Design names Lois Jacobs global CEO

LONDON - Design consultancy Fitch is intending to further expand into Asia with the appointment of a new global chief executive officer, Lois Jacobs (pictured).

Fitch Design names Lois Jacobs global CEO
“We're already in 11 countries and as we see opportunities, we'll make sure we are positioned in the best way to exploit them,” said Jacobs.

Based in London, Jacobs will work closely with founder and chairman Rodney Fitch at their headquarters. Speaking of how Fitch will combat the recent economic downturn, Jacobs remains optimistic. “In some Asian regions it's slowing down in others there is still growth albeit perhaps not the meteoric growth we've seen in recent times. Clients come to us for an integrated approach and of course there are savings when everything can be created in one studio.”

Prior to joining the WPP network, Jacobs was international president for eight years at Jack Morton Worldwide, and led the company to Asia. She was also involved in the “cities-branding” event such as the Olympic and Commonwealth Games and New Year’s Eve celebrations for London.

Fitch is one of the seven branding and design firms under WPP, currently present in Asia with offices in India, Malaysia and Singapore.
