mGuest is an e-concierge service that facilitates bookings and in-room services for 4- and 5- star Asian hotels.

Mathew McDougall, CEO of Digital Jungle, said the "innovative application provides functionality for hotel guests. They are able to view a 360-degree virtual walkaround of their room before check-in, for example".

According to Digital Jungle, the hospitality sector in Asia is estimated to grow at a rate of around 15 per cent over the next five years.

Extra features of mGuest include social media integration with Sina Weibo, Renren, as well as group buying and event modules. The mGuest app is available for iPhones, iPads and Android platforms.

Digital Jungle, a social media technology and consultancy firm, was spun out of SinoTech Group this year.
