The appointment came after a pitch called at the end of last year, which involved a total of 10 agencies in Singapore and Malaysia.

Elaine Seah, group director at Brand Inc, noted that Buffalo is looking to leverage a PR agency’s knowledge of the media landscape in the region to increase the brand's media profile, not only with technology media but also among consumer media in Singapore and Malaysia.

Brand Inc is a boutique PR agency specialising in lifestyle public relations.

“This is the first time Buffalo has taken the direction of public relations and we are extremely pleased to be the first agency appointed by Buffalo for Southeast Asia," Seah said. "Buffalo has a very strong brand presence in Japan, and their products are known for quality. We believe that the competitive consumer electronics market will see a strong contender this year."
