Coach launches Chinese website

HONG KONG - Luxury brand Coach has launched a Chinese version of its website to make its fashion line more accessible to women in second- and third-tier cities.

Coach launches Chinese website
The brand wants to target internet users with limited access to Coach outlets.

Targeting women, the site includes monthly horoscopes and the matching fashion implications, as well as wallpaper downloads and product news for the Chinese market. Aside from delivering the content in simplified Chinese, pricing is also in Rmb currency so site visitors have a clear idea of Coach’s products available in China.

Promotional programmes aim to generate more traffic to the site, and especially during the holiday seasons to come.

In July Coach called a review of its media business in Japan.
