The event, dedicated to retailing in Asia-Pacific, will offer delegates the opportunity to make new contacts, network with the world's retail leaders and gain insights into the challenges and opportunities in the region as it emerges from the global economic crisis.

Highlights from the speaker line-up of retailers and experts from across Asia-Pacific, include Walmart's senior VP of business development Peter Sharp, Best Buy's enterprise EVP for Asia Kal Patel, Tata Group India's head of learning and development for Titan Industries Meera Harish, Spar International's CEO Gordon Campbell and Wumart Stores' chairman Dr Wu Jianzong among others.

As part of its focus on China, the Congress will also offer delegates insights into how to position a business in the Chinese market as the world's second largest economy and a retail superpower.

The event culminates in a gala dinner taking place on 8 March and offering delegates an unrivaled opportunity to network with the region's retail market in a more relaxed environment.

Currently in its fifth year, the World Retail Congress brings together over 1,000 senior executives from the global retail industry, featuring over 130 retailers and visionaries, in over 40 business streams, plenary sessions and executive roundtables.
