Beiersdorf retains Carat in China

SHANGHAI - German pharmaceutical company Beiersdorf has retained Carat as the incumbent for its Nivea and C-Bons Hair Care units, after a review that also included OMD and MEC.

As the company’s media agency of record of seven years in China, Carat also handles planning and buying duties for the Eucerin medical skin care range and for the Slek and Maestro hair care brands.

Other personal care brands in Beiersdorf’s global portfolio include anti-aging treatment la prairie, Hansaplast, Labello, SBT, Florena, 8x4 and tesa. The company is owned by coffee giant and online retailer, Tchibo Holding AG.
