BBDO/Proximity Singapore appoints account director for SingTel

SINGAPORE - BBDO/Proximity Singapore has appointed Safina Vig (pictured) as account director to head SingTel's digital and direct business.

The overall account will continue to be managed Intan Mokhnar.

Vig has spent the last six years at BBDO/Proximity Canada where she handled several key accounts such as Mars, Royal Bank of Canada, Fallsview Casino Resort, UNICEF and Campbell’s Soup. Prior to that she worked at Wunderman Canada handling AT&T, Citibank and Kraft.

Vig will report to Jean-Paul Burge, CEO, BBDO/Proximity Singapore.

Burge said: “With over nine years of Direct and CRM expertise, Safina brings with her a depth of experience and knowledge of the business. Her skill-set will complement what we are building here but more importantly her familiarity with our culture and the way we work will mean a seamless transition into her new role”
