BBC Worldwide | A Little Knowledge Goes a Long Way | Australia

BBC Knowledge in Australia has released a quirky campaign titled 'A little knowledge goes a long way' that aims to stimulate the human brain.

BBC Worldwide | A Little Knowledge Goes a Long Way | Australia
The Sydney-based agency Three Drunk Monkeys has filled the 60-second TV ad with astonishing facts and stylish animations. Who would have thought a pencil can draw a line 53km long and that a snail can sleep up to three years?

The print ad follows two paths of an imaginary character. One takes on the dull route of sitting at home and eating cheese, while the other route follows an interesting road of exploration.

BBC Knowledge is a subscription-based channel under pay-TV Foxtel in Australia. The campaign aims to encourage more people to tune into the channel and step up BBC's game against competitors including Discovery and National Geographic.

BBC Knowledge expanded the channel into an advertising platform in Asia last September, following a launch in Hong Kong Cable.
