The move follows Air France’s retention of Havas Media globally, the result of a pitch that included VivaKi.

Air France has worked with Havas since 1992, but its digital business across China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore and the Philippines has until now been handled by VivaKi.

The global account will be led by MPG, which is Havas Media’s largest media network, and will be managed from France.

According to a statement from Havas, the network will aim to provide Air France with “real-time solutions and constant reactivity”, as well as promoting closer collaboration between agencies under the Havas umbrella.

The account spans a total of 54 markets globally. A representative from Havas was unable to specify the value of the account in Asia at press time.
