7-Eleven launches digital campaign

TAIPEI - wwwins Consulting Taipei has launched a digital campaign for 7-Eleven in Taiwan playing on the theme of the chain's launch in Shanghai.

7-Eleven launches digital campaign
The campaign encourages Taiwanese netizens to print a flyer from the ‘Shanghai Open’ website and, using a webcam, see cartoon images of 7-Eleven’s mascot, Open-chan, on the screen. From there, audiences can pose with the cartoon and share photos taken with Open-chan, all facilitated through the use of augmented reality technology.

wwwins, a digital marketing arm of Isobar in Greater China, created the campaign to generate excitement around 7-Eleven’s Shanghai opening. Taiwanese audiences can follow the journey of Open-chan from Taipei to Shanghai and win Shanghai-themed prizes.
