Ogilvy dominated the 2019 edition of the awards, held last night in Singapore. See the full list of winners here.

2019 APAC Effie winners

Ogilvy won Network of the Year and Agency of the Year honours, as well as the Grand Effie, at the APAC Effie Awards for 2019, held last night in Singapore.

The Grand Effie went to Ogilvy India and Vodafone for 'Vodafone Sakhi', a mobile-based safety service that lets women recharge their mobile accounts without revealing their numbers to retailers. Vodafone was also named Brand of the Year (alongside Danzhai Wanda Village) and came in second for Marketer of the Year, behind Insurance Australia Group.

Overall, Ogilvy took home a grand total of 18 awards: the Grand Effie, six golds, four silvers and seven bronzes.

The new Independent Agency of the Year award was awarded to KOO-KI on the strength of 'Oyster Kanji Dictation' for Hiroshima Prefecture.

A total of 79 awards were presented: the Grand Effie, 18 golds, 23 silvers and 37 bronzes.

  • Ogilvy Singapore
  • TBWA Media Arts Lab Shanghai

On a country basis, India won 14 awards (including the Grand Effie). Australia also had 14. New Zealand came in just behind with 13.
