Visa's Kapoor takes London-based post

ASIA-PACIFIC - Visa International's regional EVP and GM of marketing Rajiv Kapoor (pictured) has been promoted to head of products and marketing for Central Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Visa's Kapoor takes London-based post
Kapoor will relocate from Singapore to London for the job and said a search for his replacement in Asia “is under way”, although an appointment has not been finalised.

A spokeswoman for Visa said Kapoor will officially assume his new position in May. He is currently in a transition process during which he will maintain his regional duties while being prepared for his new role in Europe.

Kapoor has held his regional role since May 2007, and prior to his time at Visa held the post of EVP of Nestlé India for two years.
Visa Asia-Pacific currently works with networks OMD and TBWA, which scooped the brand’s account from BBDO in September as part of Visa’s global bid to consolidate its creative agencies.
