St. George Bank counts on adorable 'dragon' to reinvigorate brand

AUSTRALIA - Relaunching its brand through newly appointed agency Saatchi & Saatchi, Australia's St. George Bank has chosen a dragon—actually a girl in a dragon suit—to exhort consumers to be brave enough to 'Start something'.

The campaign is meant to chellenge people to start doing whatever it is they really want to do, such as buying a home or starting a business, according to George Frazis, CEO of St. George Banking Group.

The new campaign will reach Australians in both cities and rural areas throughout New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Queensland and Western Australia. 

The campaign includes TV, print, OOH, in-branch, digital and social media, all of which encourage people to unleash the little dragon inside themselves.
