Nokia | N97 Mini & Ovi Store Campaign | Hong Kong

Having launched a slicker version of the N91 handset, Nokia has asked JWT, Carat and Agenda to promote the N91 Mini and the Ovi applications in Hong Kong.

The campaign will focus primarily on print, outdoor and digital. Nokia fans can win an N91 Mini by downloading five applications from the Ovi Store. Having downloaded the apps, users are invited to vote for their favourite to enter the competition. The entrant able to guess the top five most popular will win.

Carlos Palacios, strategic director at Carat noted “We are targeting a technology and style savvy audience… Ultimately members of this audience want to keep constantly connected to their friends, family, and things that interest them.” He said there is also an application to point to users to the nearest toilet.

The campaign is part of Nokia’s focus on promoting the On.cc applications. It is a partnership application with Oriental Daily Group to provide up-to-date news, entertainment and lifestyle information.

Nokia has recently partnered with Youku and Tudou to launch video widgets through Ovi Store. Ovi Store is accessible across 180 countries in five languages.

The campaign will end on 3 December.
