SINGAPORE - Lengthy acquisition negotiations between WPP network Y&R and Singaporean digital agency The Upper Storey have fallen through.

The two parties have been in talks for more than two years, but differences of opinion on both sides have applied the brakes to a proposed equity deal, according to a Y&R source.

The Upper Storey's owner Prakash Kamdar declined to comment.

The eight-year-old agency is one of Singapore's most highly regarded digital shops. It has 50 staff and key clients include Nokia, Nikon and Sony.
