Yod Sukwiwat named MD Momentum Thailand

BANGKOK - McCann Worldgroup Thailand (MW) today announced the appointment of Yod Sukwiwat as managing director for Momentum - the group’s brand activation and shopper marketing discipline.

In his role as managing director, Sukwiwat has the mandate to push Momentum’s brand engagement platform, which includes activation, shopper marketing, promotions and sponsorships throughclose collaboration, in tandem with all disciplines of McCann Worldgroup, in the hope of strengthening and growing Momentum’s service offerings in the Thai market.

Sukwiwat is a veteran of marketing and general management, and brings with him 20 years of experience and a proven track record in highly reputable companies such as GMM Grammy, J Walter Thompson, Columbia TriStar Buena Vista Films and Unilever.

Michael Robinson, regional managing director, Momentum, Southeast Asia said that over the last six months the agency has focused on acquiring talent with category expertise.  "Yod’s music and entertainment background on its own is a huge differentiator, and when partnered with our shopper, promotional and sponsorship offerings further elevates our ability to deliver unlimited solutions to transform our clients business in Asia.”
