WiMAX | Potong Now | Malaysia

Malaysian broadband service P1 W1Max (P1) has kick-started its 'Potong now' (meaning to cut) campaign daring users to cut the slow landline connection and get a better service.

The campaign will initially launch through print and radio, followed with television ads and online. The radio commercials use male actors telling little secrets in a sultry tones implying that they have “cut” their slow connection already.

A Facebook application called “Potong Lah” (meaning ‘already cut’) let fans choose a cutting weapon and snip their friends. Up-grades are rewarded on the applications after players circulate it among a number of people.
