Tan reports directly to Nicky Lim, CEO of Grey Group Malaysia, and a ‘facelift’ at G2 Public Relations is anticipated under her management.

“We were looking for a leader to bring the agency to the next level through ideation, integration and mentoring and I’m confident that Vivian has the ability to bring G2 Public Relations into the digital communications era by practicing these three core elements, which would be our main focus,” said Lim.

Tan joins from Measat Broadcast Network Systems (Astro) where she was assistant vice-president of corporate communications, positioning Astro as Malaysia’s leading cross media broadcaster and worked on most of its recently launched programs; Astro B.yond, Astro Arena and Astro 2010 FIFA World Cup offerings.

Previously at Weber Shandwick, she led and managed the total operations of the practice as head of consumer marketing and healthcare practice.

G2 Public Relations is a stand-alone agency with its own set of clients but also extends its service offerings to existing clients of Grey Group. Its clientele include Procter & Gamble (P&G), Wyeth, Pfizer, Merck, Guinness Anchor Berhad, Disposable Soft Goods (DSG) and Gurney Paragon.
