Vaseline tasks Edelman for product launch in Singapore

The appointment was made without a pitch. In working with its office in Kuala Lumpur, Edelman will be tasked to create a launch platform for the brand.

The launch will engage both online and offline channels and run in tandem with the brand's advertising in both markets.

On the appointment, Jonathan Sanchez, brand marketing director of Edelman Asia-Pacific, said: "Edelman's deep understanding of consumers in Singapore and Asia, coupled with our global relationship with Unilever, positions us to truly understand the brand and create real emotional capital for this significant launch."

Separately, Edelman has also been hired by ice-cream brand Ben & Jerry's for a social cause initative.
