Unilever halts branded reality show after man dies on set
While the cause of death remains unclear, pending a full autopsy, Saad Khan is believed to have died while taking part in an “underwater challenge” during the show, according to Pakistani e-magazine Aarpix.com, and other local blogs and Twitter posts.

Unilever has so far not released any additional information on the accident but a spokesman has commented that Khan’s passing was a “tragic accident” and the FMCG firm is “shocked” by the event and will be conducting further investigations.

The news follows an incident in July, when Pepsi had to deny online rumours that the collapse of a giant LED screen at one of its events in Guangzhou, China, had killed several people.

The incident took place during the 'Pepsi voice of the next generation' band competition on 18 July, the night Typhoon Molave hit Southeast China’s coast.
