Reported in February, UM China appointed Amy Peng as its chief strategic officer, with nationwide responsibilities. She reported directly to UM China CEO Simon Woodward and COO Lisa Wei, but both have also resigned from the agency recently.

Campaign reached out to Mediabrands’ PR director and Daniel Simon, the agency's Asia Pacific chief operating officer for comments; but neither had comment at press time.
