Tribal DDB widens Greater China footprint to Guangzhou

GUANGZHOU - Tribal DDB will launch the digital network’s first office in Guangzhou, complementing the group’s existing four offices in Greater China – Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and Taipei.

Dick van Motman, President and CEO of DDB Greater China Group said the digital agency identified "significant opportunities" in Guangzhou and was keen to invest in the market ahead of its growth  curve.

The newly minted Tribal DDB Guangzhou will "offer highly strategic creative solutions" to a lineup of clients which will be announced imminently.

Tribal DDB Greater China's vice president Eric Phu said the launch of the agency's fifth specialist digital office in Greater China is "to unlock the potential we see in Guangzhou". 

William Chang (pictured) will take on the position of group creative director of the new office. Chang was previously creative director at Tribal DDB Shanghai since 2007 with a client roster of McDonald's, Volkswagen, Philips, Pepsi, and Lipton. His creative resume also include positions at Leo Burnett Arc and wwwins Isobar.
 
"The creative calibre that William brings with him (to Tribal DDB) is unmatched,” Phu added. 

Tribal DDB is known to specialise in CRM, e-commerce, search, consulting, ROI, gaming, mobile, analytics and social media.
