TikTok spot shows it’s more than just a dancing app

TikTok has released a film to show that it has something for everyone and is more than just an app to show off the latest dance crazes.

Created by Mother, the 60-second film follows a woman helping her father move into a new property.

As they unpack boxes, they encounter various opportunities for home improvements, from cleaning dirty carpets to putting up wall art.

The pair call on TikTok to help them with the many tasks they have ahead of them, as DIY tips, book recommendations and low-cost recipes are only a scroll away.

It ends with the line “Search it, learn it, do it with TikTok” as the woman says goodbye to her dad, leaving him to enjoy his revamped home.

“Do it with TikTok” will run across TV, video-on-demand, digital, out-of-home and on the app.

Media planning and buying was handled by Zenith.
