Robert Gaxiola's verdict:

"I like it. We just about covered everybody in this domino effect of punch-happy VW sightings. A nice way to show off the fleet, don’t you think? Seeing a car ad that is more than just running footage these days may just be the first sign of an economic recovery for North America. Getting Stevie Wonder to spot one as well was funny enough. Yes, we can take a joke. Seriously, if Stevie is signing off on this one, I am too."

Sean Boyle's verdict:

"And so to the car ad. One of the world’s best advertisers, VW doesn’t disappoint by reviving a cultural, Beetle-spotting, insighty thing called ‘punch buggy’, complete with delightful Stevie Wonder cameo. The six Americans I watched the game with loved it. And told me not to bag it."
